For the most part, positive experiences. I recently went in to purchase a cordless brad nailer that I saw advertised online (in other Canadian city's) at a very reduced price, however when I got there to purchase the item the sale sticker was still listing at normal price. I brought this to the hardware REP assisting me and without question he honored the advertisement price. I was expecting a bit of a runaround that would result in a complete waste of my time. Pleasantly surprised.

For the most part, the staff is helpful.. sometimes i get an eye roll and the "what is your husband looking for?" question, and sometimes I have people come right up to me and ask what I'm looking for and help save me much time. I'll still shop there, but I go to the competition more and more now.

Having said that, pg Home Depot associates have been awesome 95% of the time. The products I have purchased there reflect the price consistently. If I buy cheap, it's usually cheap. My advice; don't be cheap if you can afford it. Treat the Associates with respect and they will go the extra mile for you.

If you the type of person who demands personalized service and insist that an associate should bend over backwards for you because you want to spend some hard earned money there and won't settle for anything other than the best possible service....grow up and don't be such a damn diva.

I applied for a position at the prince george store. Was called in for two interviews. Leaving from both believing I was to be hired.. I never was called. I had to keep calling to see the status. Each time being told they were just sorting out some department issues. So I waited. Being led to believe once sorted I'd be working either the overnight shift or cashier... Aaand I waited some more, finally I call again. I was told " I encourage you to reaply at another time.. REALY!!!! A MONTH of waiting, cancelled other job interviews. I could have been working else where by now. So not decent thing to do

Sometimes I get fair service, and sometimes I don't. My husband and I came and purchased a ton of lumber for a shed we are building, which consisted of over 100+ pieces of lumber, and over 25 sheets of plywood/osb. We were asked if we wanted a hand loading it all into our trucks, and we said yes, but the girl paged and nobody came. She eventually gave me her gloves and that was the only help we received. We were out there for half an hour, and the only help I received was from another customer.
