  I am a hobbyist and frequent Mecca a few times a year. I do my homework before I go in to be sure I ask for the right parts. I usually have a good experience but the clerk that served me today treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about and even insinuated that the parts I was asking for were outdated. I'm not sure what their regular clientele is but I certainly would not recommend them for anything other than fuses or wire as they are definitely not into electronics. I will be shopping with Mouser or Numark from now on as they apparently don't need my business. It really helps if the person behind the desk actually knows what they are selling.
